Publications

  • The Centipede

The Centipede The Centipede is the official student newspaper of Concord Academy and is published approximately eight times a year. Founded in 1963, the goal of The Centipede continues to be “to provide a place where students can ‘write and gripe,’ or simply debate issues of current interest.” Please click on the links at right to read the most recent issue or archived issues, or order a subscription to the Centipede

  • The Chameleon

    The Chameleon

Concord Academy's art and literature magazine, The Chameleon, is a yearly publication with an occasional mid-year "Prelude" edition. The Chameleon's student editors gather photos, prose, paintings, and lots of poetry, creating a venue in which CA's talent and creativity can both inspire and be remembered. • The Scallion

    The Scallion

The Scallion is Concord Academy's only (and thus, premier) satirical newspaper. After a brief hiatus, the publication returned in 2006 in full force to satisfy the community's insatiable need for observational humor. In pointing out the many absurdities of Concord Academy and greater prep school life, The Scallion lives up to its slogan, "Yeah, we said it."
