Curricular Requirements

For students entering Concord Academy as freshmen, a minimum of 120 credits is required for graduation. For entering sophomores, 90 credits are required, and for new juniors, 60 credits. In order to graduate, students must complete all department requirements. Required courses carry a total of fewer credits than are needed for graduation. The remaining credits may be taken in any area, enabling a student to explore a variety of interests or to concentrate in a field of special appeal. Students who opt for minimum requirements in one area are strongly advised to undertake additional major study in other areas.
