When selecting students, we consider academic achievement; intellectual curiosity; character; maturity; particular talents, hobbies and passions; the capacity for positive relationships with adults; individual expression and open-mindedness; community involvement; and potential for growth.
The Visual Arts Department includes studio courses in two- and three-dimensional fine arts, crafts, and media arts, and courses in art history. Many students initially explore several areas within the department and later focus on one or two to pursue in depth.
This spring, 10 teams competed on the fields, courts, track, and water, with the return of sailing to CA; all teams had solid performances. The spring season ended on a high note with a celebration of the spring teams and senior student-athletes.
