A Sense of Place until October 31

Photographs by CA students are currently on display at the Concord Museum as part of a new exhibition. Students from several local schools including CA were asked to submit photographs that “investigated and responded to places they find personally meaningful.”

The students' work is tied into an exhibition of photographs taken by Annie Leibovitz. Photographs by Josh Calka ’14, Dan Mueller ’14, Deborah Haartz ’14, Lina Janah ’14, Isa Bratton-Benfield ’13, Austen Sharpe ’14, SeoHee Lim ’13, Charlotte Weiner ’13, Serena Frechter ’14, Amanda Brown ’14, and Teresa Dai ’14 are all on display. Photography teacher Cynthia Katz facilitated the partnership with the Concord Museum. “The pictures from our kids are very sophisticated, personal, and varied in their visual approach to the theme of PLACE. Seven of the eleven images from CA are drawn from Photo 1 students, which speaks volumes about our program,” says Katz.

The exhibition will be on view through October 31.
